Hello and welcome to Holmes' Science Classes!

     I am so excited to be here at GSIC to kick off my 22nd year in education!  I am a product of Richmond County public schools, having graduated from Glenn Hills HS in 198?.  I worked as a veterinary nurse technician for 20 years while completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Augusta State University (2002).  I started my second career as a high school science teacher at Butler HS in 2003 and then moved on to Hephzibah HS in 2010.  This is my fiftth year as a GSIC Patriot! I have continued my studies in science education in various ways including attending many workshops and conferences and earning two additional post-graduate degrees in education. I have been happily married to my best bud for 30 years and we have an adult son who lives in Atlanta. Never straying far from my veterinary roots, I have a herd of cats and dogs, a horse, and a tortoise that keep me very entertained!

   This year I will be teaching Forensic Science, and Physical Science!
