Welcome to Literature and Composition

I am excited about teaching 11th grade American Literature, 12th grade British Literature, and Journalism this year.

My literature classes are challenging, but the reward is improved reading, writing, and critical thinking. I do use Google Classroom to post resources and some assignments, but most of the work is done on paper in the classroom.

Journalism class is mostly done on the computer using different programs, and we complete the school's yearbook. 

Please check Infinite Campus to get an accurate, current grade for your student. I am available after school to help students if needed. Email is the best way to contact me because I check it throughout the day. I am here to help your student, so please reach out if he or she needs anything.

In addition to teaching, I am the advisor for the Student Council and the sponsor for the Class of 2025.
