My name is Stephanie Bates. I was born and raised in Augusta, GA but, lived a short time in North Carolina. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years and we have two boys. Both of my boys attend GSIC too. This is my 9th year teaching middle school and my first year at GSIC. 

I hold a bachelor's degree from Augusta State University (AU-now) and a master's degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
