Hello! I am starting my fifth year at GSIC. I have enjoyed teaching and being part of the GSIC family. I currently co-teach at our high school. This will be my fourth year teaching a life skills class which I thoroughly enjoy. 

I graduated from Augusta State University in 2003 with a bachelor of arts majoring in English with a minor in secondary education. I completed my Masters from Walden University in 2008. I have taught in Jefferson County and Warren County. I won teacher of the year for 2017-2018 at Warren Co. high school. 

Last summer, I became an American. It was a long process, but I completed it and was sworn in as an American citizen on June 27/2022.
